    I checked the setting to not display woocommerce category page titles, however there’s still a slim gray bar showing. Please see the attached screenshot.

    How can I remove this completely?

    As there is no spacing the borders have added together creating a greater width. You can remove one like so:

    .woo-aux-options {
    border-top: none;
}
