Hi Ed and SwiftIdeas Crew,
We’ve been having an issue with the dante menu and a plugin we use.
We’ve decided to use ubermenu as our primary menu system, including its mobile menu feature.Request for Support:
1- Could you let us know how we can “remove” or “disable” the mobile menu feature/function for the dante theme?This will help us tremendously.
Thanks much for your help.
– eaaFebruary 19, 2014 at 9:17 am #50163Hi,
If you wish to remove the button only. You can do so with this custom css
div#logo a.mobile-menu-show {display: none !important;}
If you are having any JS conflicts, Please provide url in a private post so i can take a look at the console errrors.
Thanks

It depends on which header version you are using, but give this custom css a try:
#main-navigation, .header-1 #main-nav, .header-1 #main-nav-sticky-wrapper, .header-1 .header-left, .header-1 .header-right, .header-2 .header-right, .header-2 #main-nav, .header-2 #main-nav-sticky-wrapper { display: block; }
Hope that helps!

March 16, 2015 at 5:23 am #157481Hi guys.
I’m going to purchase another menu plugin in order to switch it instead of Dante default one, too simple to me.
Despite that I do know you do not do third party plugin support, I’m asking you how to disable mobile menu in order to use another one.Thanks in advance for your help.

MohammadMarch 16, 2015 at 12:24 pm #157672Oh, dear…… I need to hide description ONLY when it has no content. I do not need to hide it via css.
Don’t you think that a customer with more than a hundred of replies just already know it?
Stick to my request please, read more above.
Waiting for your wiser reply, thanksPs: if you are searching for someone who spots bugs by suggesting simple css editings, just drop me a line…

MohammadMarch 16, 2015 at 8:51 pm #157922Dear Mohammad,
is it your suggestion the best way that would fit to accept another mega menu plugin for mobile?March 17, 2015 at 1:37 am #157966Hi,
Please apply this code first after that we are available to assist you.
Thanks
MohammadMarch 22, 2015 at 6:08 pm #159610Hi Mohammad!
Great news! I managed to switch to a new menu by simply adding a css selector in sf-header.php. Then I tested it and it’s ok.
There’s just a little bug in all this: ipad is ok, nexus 5 is ok, I cannot understand why I see the two menus both activated on samsung tablet 7″, which is 600x1024px. It doesn’t happen all the time, I think it depends on where one touches the menu icon activator… 🙂
Please, see attached screenshot: I know you can’t provide support for thid-party plugin, but in this case my question is: how can I disable it if I have another one? I have to hide it or simply not activate it.
You can test it here: http://www.puntobianco.netAttachments:
