Register account without woocommerce

Hi,

Is it possible to login and register without it going through woocommerce?

Currently, we enabled woocommerce just to be able to login/register but when we do “test” register it shows random, fake recent orders and order details. We don’t have a shop active on the website.

During registration, it only asks for email and password – no additional details.

Also, once activated woocommerce – we went to ‘enable registration’ and it’s copying the company name from our other website.

There are some settings for Registration in the Woocommerce >> General Tab:
-Registration
|—Allow registration on the checkout page
|—Allow registration on the “My Account” page
|—Register using the email address for the username

And besides this controls, “User registration” is a WordPress functionality. WooCommerce uses that WP-function in order to add a new user-role as customer.

If you don’t want any users to register than you may want to look at the WordPress Main Settings

WordPress Admin >> Settings >> General
-Membership
|–Anyone can register
We have a Dante v2.12 update out to fix all the issues and recommend to upgrade to latest version .Hope it will help you .
