Simply trying to add the Dimmi pop-up calendar to the footer widget as per instructions:

    https://www.dimmi.com.au/restaurant-owners/dimmi-booking-gadget

I have this pop up working elsewhere on the website, but the Footer Widget won’t save the changes, it times out (see attached).

    Code I’m attempting to use:

    Hi,

Do you get any console log errors in the Chrome Web Dev tools?

Can you provide a .txt file/github gist of the code?

    Thanks.

I’m not sure how to get a console log error when trying to add the Raw HTML to a footer widget.

    Can you try for me?

I have attached the Raw HTML I’m attempting to add to Footer Column 2, the when you SAVE it times out.

    Hi Taffy,

Looks like the javascript:void is causing the admin-ajax.php to error:

There are some really decent references as to why the method you are trying to implement should be avoided, in favour of using some simple jQuery. Ref: http://stackoverflow.com/a/9440536/4034148.

Using the above as a guide you could essentially integrate this sample code and update the parameters to match your URL code: http://jsfiddle.net/a7qJt/.

The jQuery will go in Theme Options => Custom JS.
