    When viewing a portfolio item, the URL has a ‘?portfolio=’ parameter. What is the best way to change the name of this ‘slug’ in the URL when using a child theme?

    In portfolio-type.php change

    'rewrite' => false,

    in line 48 to

    'rewrite' => array('slug'=>'your-slug','with_front'=>false),

    Let me know if that worked!

    Nah, didn’t seem to work. Replaced the line and copied over to Child theme folder so not sure if that makes a difference…
