Portfolio items not showing up in portfolio?

Hi guys, scratching my head over here. I created a page called Portfolio. I have portfolio items. But when I go to my portfolio page, those items are not there. Is there a way I can route them to that page?

The page in question is this: http://hunterhadfield.com/portfolio/

As you can see I’ve disabled this page from the menu because of the problem.

New problem: There are 15 portfolio items and I’d like 12 on the first page. When I go to page 2, it gives me a 404 message. Any ideas?

Hi,

Can you try to save your permalinks again? Go to Settings-> Permalinks and hit the “save changes” button
If doens’t work we will need admin credentials to check it.

Hi Ed, yes it works now but Rui had to change the permalink base back to default. I was wondering if the portfolio item url could be custom and pagination worked, but it seems like those do not work concurrently.

Hi Hunter,

We investigate this situation last night, and that is really a WordPress limitation where the page name can’t be the same as custom post type name “portfolio” or whatever custom post type.

Or the page or the custom portfolio will have to be changed so they won’t conflict.
