Hi, i am having a difficult time trying to find something, hope you can help on this one.

I have created several portfolio items (works), ok 🙂

Now im creating a “home page” that will feature the works, i “Edit Portfolio” in the swift page builder and chose the masonry gallery.

In the “order by” section there’s this option that is called “ID”, which i assume that corresponds to a number through which i can order the works the way i want.

    QUESTION:
Where can i input this “ID” parameter?

    thank you
    Nuno

    Hi,

If you edit a portfolio item, look in the address bar and you will see the ID: http://d.pr/i/YOQS. Ex: 12868

    Thanks.

@ninjatranqui – no, you can use this plugin to drag ‘n drop the order: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/

    Thanks.

I kind of have a related doubt,
it’s kind of hard to explain but i’ll try

i created de works through “portfolio” items, i choose a “featured image” that shows in my homepage – ok
since i want to create a variation in my “home”, i have created different sized “featured images”- ok

at the bottom of a singular “work/portfolio item” i have the “related works”, i would like to have them all the same size, so i created some “thumbnails”, and you probably know what happened, it either uses the thumbs or the “featured image”

    QUESTION:
is there a way to use one of them with the masonry, in the home page and the other one with the related items at the end of a page?

    thanks

if you would like i ca create a new post with this question
    Nuno

To create a multi masonry layout, set the masonry thumbnail in the Portfolio => Meta Options => Masonry thumbnail.

You want to do this right? http://cardinal.swiftideas.com/asset-reference/portfolio/portfolio-multi-size-masonry-43-full-width/

    Thanks.

    Hi, thanks for the answer,
one thing i wasn’t doing properly, although the result was the same, i was using a mansonry instead of a multisize mansonry, i got it to work like the the previous one, but my question persists, the masonry uses the same image for the presentation in the “portfolio” and the “related works” even if it shows them in a different way.

I cannot seem to find a demo that has the example you showed me, can you post a link with it please?

    thank you

Sorry, now I am confused as to exactly what you want,

    – Do you want a multimasonry portfolio?
    – Masonry/non masonry related portfolio display?

Or something else entirely? If you can add any images to illustrate this further it will help.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

This is certainly tricky without a live staging link, but the video did help.

Please do not set the tall image as the image/featured image.

You control the masonry thumbnail using the Meta Options => Masonry Thumbnail. Choose “Tall”. See here: http://d.pr/i/16amM.

    Thanks.
