portfolio filtering bug

if the individual portfolio-categories have custom slugs, the filtering shows a zero count and will not display

i.e. portfolio-category name “radio”
portfolio-category slug “portfolio-radio”

when the slug matches the name, filtering is working
I’d like to use the custom slug names to avoid confusion with other similar slugs on the site.

Hi, you will always need to have an unique slug, slugs can never be duplicated throughout the theme (e.g the same for filter and a post).
Let me know if I’m misunderstanding your problem tho.

Can you post up your website URL with a working and a not working example?

I have exactly the same problem. My Portfokio categories are not showing up on the Portfolio filte. The only ones that appear are the ones that name and slug are the same eg. Events -> events, but Obtects & Stuff as a name and stuff as a slug does’nt work.

So this is a bug problem, could you please solve it via an update and puplish meanwhile the solution you applied to pdupree above.
