Hi, I tried to search & see if anyone else had posted on this, but I’m not sure what to call it, so makes searching difficult!

When you write a blog post your author name appears and next to it there is a generic image / icon / avatar, of the ‘mystery man’. Can I change this to an image of my choosing?

Hi Jeanette,

You can change WordPress’ default avatar in Settings/Discussion. If it finds one, it will use your Gravatar.com avatar; otherwise, it will use the icon you set in the location I mentioned above.
