    Hi,

    Originally the neighbourhood theme checkout only worked with “oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers” deactivated, as this was a requirement of the theme for the twitter feed on the front page, you informed us it was a hosting error.

    We approached our hosting company who informed us the following needed to be repaired:

    ———————————————
    1. mysql_connect
    =======
    [17-Mar-2017 05:33:44 UTC] PHP Deprecated: mysql_connect(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead in /home/helixandrew/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1564
    =======

    The mysql_connect() function used in the script /home/helixandrew/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php is deprecated. This can cause connectivity issues. Please check with your developer and ensure that this is working. Alternately, you can install mysqli or PDO in the script. This can be installed on the server by running EasyApache.

    2. Cannot redeclare class OAuthDataStore
    =======
    [17-Mar-2017 06:00:27 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class OAuthDataStore in /home/helixandrew/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/classes/gateways/PayPal_AdvPayments/PayPal_AP/classes/adaptivepayments-sdk/lib/auth/PPAuth.php on line 826
    =======
    ———————————————

    Our developer informed us to make these repairs we needed to upgrade to the latest version of PHP. (From PHP: 4.0.10.18 to 5.0)

    After paying our hosting provider to do this, now we now can’t load the website or login page.

    Our hosting providers have suggested we roll back to the older version of PHP, If we roll back to the older version, do you know how we can work around the issue with “oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers”? And will the Neighbourhood theme work with PHP version 4.0.10.18?

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Hi,

    Please ignore that last message, I found a developer who fixed everything that was affected from upgrading PHP, they also fixed the conflict “oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers” had with PayPal adaptive payments.

    Thank You, I’m so relieved!

    Cheers

    WooCommece will require the latest versions of PHP & MySQL. Consider switching to a better host such as WPEngine.
