I’m having issues when I try to preview certain pages and receive the message: ‘Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts as this user.’, even though I am an admin.

It seemed to be linked to certain elements, I tried it on pages that had ‘Portfolio’ and ‘Recent Posts’ which didn’t work, but if I removed the elements it went back to normal.

    Hi,

We got no restriction regarding the content that I’m aware.
Can you try to activate the default WordPress theme Twenty Sixteen to see if that happens?

Preview works fine with Twenty Sixteen

Can you provide us a link to a page where you have that issue?

Hi Rui, the blog page is one that I can view normally but cannot preview:

    I can preview this fine.

Please login with the details you supplied and try with that account.

That’s actually even weirder, the preview you’re seeing (and I’m seeing) is of the homepage – it should just be the blog. This is all of the data in that page:

    [spb_blog blog_type=”bold” gutters=”no” columns=”4″ fullwidth=”yes” item_count=”10″ category=”All” offset=”0″ order_by=”date” order=”DESC” show_title=”yes” show_excerpt=”no” show_details=”yes” excerpt_length=”20″ content_output=”excerpt” show_read_more=”yes” social_integration=”no” twitter_username=”swiftideas” blog_filter=”no” pagination=”infinite-scroll” alt_styling=”no” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

Please remove “Blog” from your “Posts page”, it should be blank:

Thank you, I think this has worked.
