    Hi guys,

When a product page is loading, all the product pictures are underneath each other for 1-2-3 seconds and the they jump to their place.
It is a bit annoying as well as doesn’t look nice.
Example link above – see attached screen recording.

Would you have any solution for that?

FYA: All my photos are saved for web, well edited, I use cdn and fast hosting service (WPengine).

Not sure what can be done.
Will forward to our head developer to get his opinion.

    Hi @micheal_w

That is the loading process from images –> slider. If you’d like, we can implement something that keeps that all hidden until the slider has loaded, and then shows it?

    Hi Ed,

If it doesn’t impact the user experience in a bad way, I am happy to go for your suggestion.
    Thanks!

Hmm @micheal_w – not too sure on that one. You could try this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-original-media-path/

    Let us know.

    Hi Ed,

Tried the plugin, but it didn’t change anything with the thumbnails loading from the site (instead from the CDN).

    Hi @michael_w

Looked into this further, and we call the standard WordPress function to get this URL: wp_get_attachment_url()

This is passed as a data attribute in the slider in order to load the thumbnail as required by the slider plugin. Unfortunately nothing we can do from our end on this, as it seems that the CDN must only pickup img tags?
