    How can I have a gallery open in a modal by clicking on a text link? I looked all over the forum and didn’t see a solution. Please advise.

    Unfortunately that is not possible. You could use a button shortcode: 

    [sf_modal header="" btn_colour="accent" btn_type="standard" btn_size="standard" btn_icon="ss-star" btn_text="Button text"]
ENTER THE MODAL BODY HERE
[/sf_modal]

    Can I at least make a text open a modal instead of the button? It is very limiting to have modals only through a button.
