    Hi Ed

I just signed up to Westhost.com’s Preferred Plan and created a clean install of WP 3.5.1 using softaculous.

I them ftp-ed your flexform theme, activated it and got a 500 server error.

I can browse to my site at http://www.nzsi.org.nz and it displays the flexform theme as expected (although there seemed to be some small formatting issues (Chrome)).

The problem is when I try to go to Admin I got a 500 server error.

    Please help. Thanks.

    Chris

    Hi Ed.

I ftp-ed the files over the top of the existing ones but still no luck.

Can you change WP_Debug in wp-config.php and see what errors show up on the admin area? Hopefully that will show the issue.

    Hi Ed.

Yes, I was editing wp-config.php in root which is when I started getting the “already defined” message.

    I created a php.ini file in wp-admin folder and added “memory_limit = 200M” and it now works.

I found the solution near the bottom of this page. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-memory-limit-not-updated

Thanks for your help Ed 🙂

UPDATE: I installed the necessary plugins and got the same memory error when browsing the site but not in wp-admin. So I copied the php.ini file to the web root as well and all okay.

Glad you got it sorted, must have been the php memory limit that was the issue.
