There is an issue with my “most loved” widget. It keeps on displaying the same author for all posts?

Swift IdeasApril 28, 2014 at 9:38 pm #70570I have multiple authors and for each post it displays the same author.
E.g
Post 1
Author 1Post 2
Author 1Post 3
Author 1When it should be author 2 or 3 or 4.

KyleMay 2, 2014 at 1:19 pm #71838Hi there,
Please can you try replacing /swift-framework/widgets/widget-mostloved.php with the following code: http://pastie.org/private/2h35frwzh9mykeml4gkta
Let me know if that sorts it!

-RuiNovember 21, 2014 at 8:38 pm #130123So we ran the Theme update for Dante and now this isn’t working the way it should, again. I tried replacing the swift framework file but when I get to the directory, there is no file by the name widget-mostloved.php
Here’s where I went to find it.
wp-content/themes/dante/swift-framework/widgets/
In an attempt to see if adding the file with the supplied code would work, I did just that, downloaded the pastie, saved as widget-mostloved.php and uploaded to the directory but that didn’t work.
Can you please tell me where the code was relocated to? If it wasn’t relocated and perhaps I am looking it the wrong directory could you please tell me where to look?
Either way if you could help I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you.
November 24, 2014 at 2:10 am #130327Hi,
Which version you’re using, we already update the code here in this file \includes\plugins\love-it-pro\includes\widgets.php in the latest version 2.69 I suggest you to remove the code you added and use the old widget named “Most Loved Item” from Appearance -> Widgets.
And if that still bugs you that problem, please let us know,
Thanks,
laranz. -
