    hello guys!

Anytime a modal comes up, the side scrollbar disappears (Chrome Mac) and flicks the whole page to the right that creates an unpleasant effect.

    Can it be eliminated?

FYA: in Atelier, this page move is not there http://swiftideas.com/elements/modals

    Thanks!

So when you click on the modal, the scroll bar from the right side disappears and the header moves to the right.
When you close the modal, the scroll bar comes back and the header moves back to its original place…

    pretty annoying… ๐Ÿ™

Not happening on my Mac, probably because there is not a scrollbar area it overlays the window. However for browsers with scrollbar unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about it

    Hi Kyle,

it’s the best that I show you on your demos.
See on Uplift, when modal opens the scroll bar disappear and the header jumps to the right. While on Atelier when you open the modal, although the scroll disappear too, that header is fixed and not moving…

    See attached video..

Thanks, Ed will update you in due course.

Initially I cannot replicate this either, I’m on Mac + Chrome as you mentioned which is strange. Anything else I should be doing to replicate this?

Hm.. check your demo page please, you should see.. I am not imagine ๐Ÿ™‚

    Modals & Lists

When the modal opens, the scrollbar disappear and with that few pixels the header jumps to the right…

I checked again, on Windows Explorer & Edge works perfectly.
On Windows Chrome, Mac Safari & Chrome doesn’t. Strangely, when opening the page first time some doesn’t do? but if you refresh with cmnd+r and then you try the modal, the header moves all the time…

    Strange issue…
    I didn’t drink anything, promise ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi @micheal_w

Have tested chrome and safari multiple times with multiple refreshes and completely unable to replicate.

Can you let us know versions and what width your browser is open at?

    Thanks,

    – Ed

Still unable to replicate on either of those with the same setup. Are you able to test another machine?

    Hi Ed,

I have visited two of my friends and this is the result:
    (all Windows)

    Header jumps to the right:

    24โ€ 1920×1080 Chrome 51.0.2704.106 m
    24โ€ 1920×1080 Firefox 48.0

    Header okay:

    24โ€ 1920×1200 Chrome 51.0.2704.106 m
    24โ€ 1920×1200 IE 11.0.9600.18378
    24โ€ 1920×1200 Firefox 48.0
