What page are you testing it on? For me it looks great:

Hey David,

I’m testing on the homepage.

I think your screen looks ok as the background is white, as the menu background is transparent..

But when it’s matched to a different coloured background, you see the menu hanging over..

Any ideas?

Please test adding this:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
 #main-navigation {
    background-color: #fff;
}
}

Hey David,

That didn’t work, also tried the following:

li.menu-item-13127{
background-color:#111 !Important;
margin-bottom:20px !Important;
}

li.menu-item-13127.menu-item.menu-item-type-post_type.menu-item-object-page.sf-std-menu{
margin-bottom:20px !Important;
background-color:#fff;
}

I’ll keep trying, if nothing works I’ll just figure something out.

I have just re-added the CSS and it works nicely. Can you provide a screenshot of what you see and what device you experience it on?
