Hi,

the access to my website is very slow (3’30 to access), when WP-DEBUG is activated, I have these message (cf. screenshot):

Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use
__construct()
instead. in /home/mywebsite/www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3457

What should I do ?

Update to the latest version of the theme, this was updated weeks ago to provide compatibility for the latest WordPress.

Check for updates in the other plugins. I can see in your screenshot that the Tribe Events plugins needs to be updated.

the theme?!

I don’t think that warning is regarding the theme – we have it running locally with no such error.

Hi Ed,

I had still the warning… Thus I have desactivated all the plugins and have changed the theme for twentyfifteen. The access to site was norma.
Then when I switch to Cardinal I had a “fatal error” blanck page and the enclosed debug screenshot.

p.s-the error message that you show in your first reply it’s on the core files of WordPress not in the theme files.

I don’t know what error are you seeing in that screenshot I also don’t know the plugin that generates that information.
Do you face any specific problem using the theme?

yes, I have no more access to the site : a blank page , with “Fatal error” mention in the navigator tab.

When I swich for WP Twentyfifteen, I don’t have this issue

That’s cause by some custom code in your child theme. It’s caused by this line.

We can’t support custom modifications. I commented that line and it’s working now.
