Menus missing

After installing the demo data and assigning the menus per the tutorial I only have the “home”, “features” and “pages” menu items. How do I get the other menu items?

Hey Ed,

No luck trying to add extra menu items. Every time I try to add a menu, save and view the site I get “Please assign a menu to the Main Menu in Appearance > Menus”. After re-assigning the menu locations the new extra menu item is not in the menu structure.

A Bluehost tech read the article you pointed to and made the changes suggested and I still have the problem.

I am wondering if I should reinstall wordpress, Dante and the xml data. I did have a few other themes installed before going to Dante. What do you think?

Looks like that line is commented out?

If still no go, give it a fresh install – might just sort it.
