Hi,
There seems to be a mega menu bug. After trying to add menu-items to the ‘merken’ submenu, the items are not saved and the menu visibility settings change. does this bug ring a bell?
See attachments.
Hope to hear from you.
Cheers,

Already experienced this a couple times, but it’s not specific to our themes.
It seems and issue from the WordPress menus itself. We always need to check below if the menus of the checkbox are still assigned.

June 16, 2015 at 12:20 pm #185013Hi,
Yes, I know. But there’s also items disappearing after saving. Same issue?
Cheers,
DirkJune 16, 2015 at 12:43 pm #185025No that no. I was referring to the menus being dissociate from the menu locations.
The items shouldn’t disappear since they are stored in the database.Only if you removed some of the product categories.

Ask your hosting company to change it to 2000.
It should be something like this
max_input_vars = 2000

June 19, 2015 at 3:43 pm #186398Hi,
We changed settings to 2000, with no effect. We can’t seem to add more menu-items. Hope you have another solution. Our hosting company found it very strange way of programming, he couldn’t belie this was the proper approach and/or bug.
Hope to hear from you,

DirkJune 19, 2015 at 3:56 pm #186404Hi,
Can you test the menus it with the default Twenty 15 themes?
About your hosting company, we are trying to help the best we can in a problem that probably is not related to the theme. Guess they didn’t helped you further.

June 20, 2015 at 10:18 am #186540Don’t shoot the messenger 🙁
I could test it with twenty 15 theme, but that has no mega menu built in … so pretty hard to test.Cheers,
DirkJune 21, 2015 at 5:41 pm #186647Haha
The shot is not for the messenger. Don’t like when people criticize and don’t help even a little bit or provide an alternative solution. From what I understand the problem is that you add items to the menu in the menus admin area and they disappear from there. Or they are saved and you can’t see them in the front-end?
if the problem is that your new items aren’t save you can test with Twenty 15 without checking being necessary to check it in the front.
Can you also provide admin access in a private reply?
Thanks-Rui

Create an .htaccess files in root directory of your wordpress installtion and paste this in your .htacces file, and you’ll hopefully be good to go:php_value suhosin.post.max_vars 7000
php_value suhosin.request.max_vars 7000Thanks
