    Will it ever be possible to just have the language files within the child theme? I always have to keep in mind to save them before upgrading…

    Hi there,

    It’s always difficult to decide about how to set things up with a child theme, as it’s never certain what the user will need. Will have a think.

    For now it might be easier for you to change functions.php line 110 to:

    load_theme_textdomain('swiftframework', get_stylesheet_directory_uri().'/language');

    It’s not possible to simply check both directories?

    Possibly.. I’ll look into it for an update.

    Or, you could include my .po & .mo files when I’m done with translating the Admin UI 🙂

    The above snippet stopped working in v.1.4.3…
    Not sure why as I can’t see a problem with it. But I also tried adding the full relative directory, i.e. ./../flexform-child/language/ – still isn’t being read from that directory… I checked and the permissions should be fine.

    That’s odd, nothing has changed related to that.

    I’ve got plans to sort something out relating to child theme language file loading for the next update, so might be best to wait for that.
