WordPress already has a version of jQuery included, which is why there is no register for it.

It definitely doesn’t explain the reason some browsers don’t work.. Tested Windows 7 + Chrome, not seeing the issue.. Very odd.

My idea would be to use a HTML page, nothing related to the Ability theme.
