    Hello

I want to integrate a google map on the contact page. It shows up for a short moment and then it disappears behind an error message. I searched in your forum to find a solution, but couldn’t find any.

I renewed the API Key without any effect

Please can you help me to show up the map

    Kind regards, Roy

    Hi,

Did you entered the google maps API Key in the SwiftFramework Google Auth Option?

can you double check if it’s the correct key for that domain?

This is what I get in the backend.

It should be the correct key.

What I can do. I can generate a new key. And then we will see. But this error occured also before I used the API-key.

Try it again. Check if the domain name is exactly the same.
Since a few months ago it’s required the API Key or the maps won’t work.

This is usually caused when a 3rd party plugin also loads in Google Map code.

Can I ask you to disable all plugins leaving only Swift Framework and WooCommerce active.

Will have to forward it to our head developer.

Something outside of the theme is adding in the Google Maps API to the head tag:

That is not something the theme is doing, so please check your setup.

I added this line according to the description of how to set up the Google API-Key. But the error occured before I did this. So I thought it is an error because there was no API-key for Google Maps. I can delete this line but I do not think that the map will appear.

    Kind regards, Roy

The current error is showing because of that line – please delete.
