Hello,
I’ve created tabs on my home page which automatically create an anchor. When I add that anchor into a link (like for the rules and regulations tab) it does not work when it the anchor is on the same page (I noticed on the English version, French seems to work). If lets say I click on the anchor link from the contact page it works.
I also noticed that when I have a french version of the tab with french characters like é, the anchor removes the whole character…so for example the tab named réglesetréglements = #rglesetrglements. I am using WPML for the string translations.
I would like to keep the url of this site confidential as well.
Thanks!
April 6, 2017 at 3:47 pm #319951An update popped up for the theme so I updated, it is now at the latest version then I wrote out when I first submitted this case.
April 6, 2017 at 9:42 pm #319977I’ve been doing some troubleshooting and turns out even the french anchors in the tabs are intermittently working. I have determined that if you are on another page then where the tabs are, the link works correctly. I have found this to be true as well through google analytics, it does not pick up the tab anchor link when I am on the home page but say I am on the contact page and click on Rules and Regulations in the footer, it recognizes it. Something odd is happening on between the links on the page where the tabs reside.

Just following up as I haven’t heard from anyone in a few days. Can someone let me know when this issue can be looked at or if it has been reviewed?
Thanks!

Sorry I didn’t realize that it goes to the bottom of the list when I updated the thread with what I did to troubleshoot. I do have the full url in the link. Do you could kindly remove the url from this thread as per my initial request (original post) from public eye as well.
I found that if you enter the URL when you are not on the home page for the english side or click the same link in the footer on another page it works…its like it needs to refresh for it to detect the anchor.
Thanks!

April 12, 2017 at 3:02 pm #320751Hi Rui,
I did end up using the full url in the link, I’ve tried https and http alternatives as well but it hasn’t done anything. French works perfectly for some reason.
Thanks!
April 13, 2017 at 4:52 pm #320960Thanks for the feedback. Glad you got it sorted.
April 13, 2017 at 9:33 pm #321032Hi Rui,
The issue hasn’t been resolved on the english side, I was only confirming that the full link was there as you mentioned in your previous post.
Thanks!
April 17, 2017 at 8:47 pm #321256Hi Rui,
The issue has not been resolved as per my last message, would you know what else it could be causing this issue?
Thanks!
April 19, 2017 at 10:31 am #321518Hi,
To clarify this, on the English site when you add a URL with a tab hash to the address bar the page is not loaded in the correct position or not loaded completely?
Could you list the steps to clarify and for to replicte?
Cheers
