Importing Big Cartel products into neighborhood theme

I am trying to move my website http://www.vividvenus.com to wordpress. I’d like to transfer the product description, title, price, etc with the new neighborhood theme applied, NOT overriding any of the display options. I have search on the web for importing plug-ins and have not found one for importing products into the neighborhood theme itself. The only a plug-in I’ve found is this https://wordpress.org/plugins/big-cartel-product-importer/ and it adds products as if they where an extra page with out pluging them in to the themes styles and format.

Please let me know if there is any way to transfer products swiftly without having to manually transfer product information one by one.

Hi,

I’m afraid I don’t have any suggestion for a prebuilt plugin, I would guess that a plugin cannot handle a specific case of big cartel to wordpress custom post type. Maybe ask in the general wordpress forums so plugin developers can chime in?

I would think it’s best to hire a developer to help you with it! Writing a custom database query would probably be the safest way!
