    Is there a listing of optimal image sizes for post and thumbnails?

    I’m almost set with my updating my theme, but the images are one of the last things I’m going to do.

    Hi Ryan,

    No specific sizes needed, the theme resizes them anyway. Just make sure they aren’t tiny thumbnails 🙂

    When the theme resizes an image down, does it also reduce the file size and therefore the loading time?

    Yes, of course. A smaller image will always be smaller in file size too, when it’s resized in WordPress.
