i’m kind of new to all of this. why aren’t all the icons from font awesome in the shortcodes?

Hi,

Mostly because of the usability issues it would post, since there are over 200 icons in there.

But, after inserting a shortcode, you can switch to Classic editor and change the icon name with any other icon you need (minus the “icon-” part) – please see this list for reference: http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/cheatsheet/
