How to wrap a pagebuilder asset within a shortcode?

Hi there,
I need to wrap a pagebuilder asset in a shortcode that restricts the content to certain users. The plugin I’m using allows me to use `[userpro_private restrict_to_roles=administrator,1st_ad,2nd_ad,set_runner] the content I want to restrict [/userpro_private]’

So i can do that in the visual or text part once I’ve added in the asset with the page builder. But if I then switch to the pagebuilder, the shortcode disappears. I’ve tried SPB Sections, saved elements etc. But nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

Yes unfortunately you would have to work in the visual editor to add your shortcode once you have created the page with the page builder, switching to the page builder will remove any code that is not recognised by the page builder
