    Hi,

    The easiest way would be to open css/font-awesome.min.css in a text editor with word wrapping on, and simply swap the contents for .icon-heart and .icon-thumbs-up

    Better yet, try adding this custom CSS in the General theme options, so that theme updates don’t override your customization:

    .icon-heart:before{content:"\f087" !important;}

    your suggestion of adding your custom CSS .icon-heart:before{content:”\f087″ !important;} in the General theme options totally worked for me!!
    Please make this solution obvious to other users interested in amending Love-it feature.
