    Hi,

    I’d like to change the menu of Flexform, but can’t get it done. I tried it using the ‘Inspect element’ feature in Chrome, but I can’t get it to match the header as attached. Note that the ‘Nog maar 235 dagen’ is a additional feature that isn’t mandatory..

    Could you help me to get it done? Thanks!

    Hi Jeffrey,

    Menus are managed under Appearance/Menus. What exactly did you want to change?

    Hi Cosmin,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I know that I can change the menu items over there, but I’m trying to override the CSS so the style of the menu matches the attachment. Unfortunately, I can’t get the following to work:

    Place the line underneath a menu item over the golden line;
    Change the color of the line underneath a menu item;
    The lines to the left and right of the menu items.

    Hope you can help me 🙂

    Ah, I see.

    Well unfortunately we can’t really help with extensive customizations like this, but to get you started: you will need to add CSS for these:

    #menu-main-menu li

    #menu-main-menu li a

    If adding CSS in the theme options, some values will require adding !important to theme, otherwise they will not override the theme’s default styles.

    override with —-> !important;

    eg.
    color: #4e4e4e !important;

    Thanks for the pointer gcampton. Managed to get it where I wanted. Just needed to add a relative position to the menu and a top.
