    Hi,
    I want change the hover effect of products in the store. My current Product Display Type is “Gallery” and I want to keep it as it is, but I would like to have a hover effect that changes from one image to another (as in Standard).
    I would also like to handle the opacity value of the black image when hover.

    1) That is not possible. You’d need to work with a developer to make the change. You can get a quote here: http://www.swiftideas.com/customization/

    2) You can do this in Theme Options => General Options => Thumbnail Options
