    Is it possible to hide ALL breadcrumbs, pages and posts site-wide, by one piece of coding?
    rather than having to go into each and every page to select ‘hide breadcrumbs’? I just want to switch them off everywhere?

    Just disable the breadcrumb plugin.
    Give it a try.
