HI,

I can’t get the child theme to assume the Google Fonts I want. I’m wondering when copying the Standard Embed code or @Impoer code, do I copy it to the parent index.php file or do I create one in the child theme?

You don’t need to do anything, Google fonts is added as part of the theme in Theme Options => Font Options.
