Hello!
I was just wondering if you could let me know if it’s possible to set a gallery page template as the home page instead of the portfolio page. Thanks!

What I think you’re trying to do is achievable if the gallery is a separate page you can go to Settings > Reading and click “A static page (select below)” and change front page to the gallery page.
