The are two formatting problems with product category descriptions. I can fix the first with CSS, but I think the second is a minor bug.

In full width product display mode the category description has no margin or padding on the left-hand side.

Add the same product category to the main menu and resize the browser smaller until the hamgurger menu displays. The category description displays in the menu after the category name and with no spacing between the two. In my opinion the description shouldn’t be in the menu at all, not just hidden, because I don’t want a paragraph-long description being output into every mobile browsing page.

    Thanks,
    Terry

    Hi,

Can you add a screenshot with the marked bug and also that page url?
    Thanks

I’m also having Product Description problems.

When I wrote the long description using the Classic Editor, I lost a lot of the formatting. See attached screen grab.

When I deleted the long description and wrote it again using the Swift Page Builder and a text box, the formatting remained. However, the description was duplicated, with the old unformatted description remaining above the new one.

How do you recommend writing the descriptions in the top box – with the Classic Editor or with the Swift Page Builder?

    Hi,

Guess using the Swift Page Builder you can create content easier and more resources available in the Swift Page Builder assets.

Delete the main description in the classic editor and give it a try.

Still having the same problem, so I tried making a new product page (same product, I just changed the name, to test the page).

I used the Swift Page Builder and the formatting is fine. However, although the long description only appears once, the short description now appears twice!

    See screen grab.

    Hi Mike,

Could you create a private reply with a WP login credential so we can take a look?

    – What is the new product URL?

    Thanks.

    Hi Mike,

Does that login have admin privileges, I cannot get past the coming soon page?

    Hi,

In the product edition I just switch to classic editor and saved the product again.
    Hope it helps.
