    Also, I got the footer newsletter field to look like the demo. But for some reason the header subscribe form thing is having some styling issues. Any suggestions so that it can look the same as it does in the footer?

    You can use this custom css:

    .widget input[type=”email”] {
    background-color: white!important;
    }
