Filtering product search results.

Hi guys,
I have an issue that I haven’t been able to solve for a couple of weeks now.

It is regarding layered navigation in product search results.
The filtering works fine when viewing any category page but when I search for a product, there are no filtering options in the sidebar. I can only see the search field that I added to that specific sidebar.

Worth noting is that I have modified the search to only search for products with “&post_type=product” in the child themes functions.php.

There are filtering options for the searched terms of the Dante demo (http://dante.swiftideas.net/?s=shirt&post_type=product) but I just can’t get it to work on my site.

Do you know of any possible solutions?

Hi

This is because WooCommerce widgets such as the Layered Nav only work on WooCommerce pages, and the search results page is not a WooCommerce page, even if you have set it to only search products. The link you provided above was a search made with the Super Search asset, which will go to a WooCommerce search result page, however the normal search widget does not. For e..g when I search ‘shirts’ on our demo it goes to this page: http://dante.swiftideas.net/?s=shirt
