I’m getting a fatal php error in my theme causing my administration to crash.

I have now updated it to 2.4. It was running 2.3.1

I don’t believe I had updated it before it crashed. Should 2.4 fix what happened? I do remember WordPress saying certain php pages of the theme being out of date
