Extra Class

Hi Ed,

I’m trying to understand how to apply extra class to style a specific element within a page.

For example, on my main page I have a Parallax section followed by a testimonial slider. I used an black background for the testimonial and I get a white space above it just before the parallax. In firebug I found that “margin: 0px 0;” eliminate the white space for the testimonial slider and “border-bottom: 0px” eliminate a thin white line from the bottom of the parallax…

The question is, how to add these extra classes in the aformentionned ELEMENTS ?

I tried adding it simply as is in the “extra class” field but it’s not the proper way 🙂

Check the advanced tips section within our page builder documentation – http://dante.swiftideas.net/documentation/#swift-page-builder

It covers quite a few custom classes that you can add to the elements to remove margins/paddings/borders.

If you wanted no top margin or border for example, you would enter the following into the extra class box:

mt0 bt0

@mcannan – You need to add mb0 in the extra class box for the parallax asset, and mt0 in the extra class box for the testimonial slider.
