    Hello!
    I have simple question with my poor English.
    In homepage I’ve recent post block with excerpt.
    Has ‘lenght of excerpt’ a limit.
    If I set high value like 80 the excerpt is always the same. Always if I set 150.
    Seems that there is a max value that I can’t set.

    Go to settings > reading, make sure you have NOT set the page as the posts page

    No, I think set is right!
    I’ve set a page that it’s home page.

    Don’t speak well English I know It’s a problem, Sorry.
    I want more text excerpt, not less.
    Now it’s ’20’, If I set ’40’ there is more text exceprt.
    But If I set ’80’ the text it’s not ’80’ but peraphs ’50’ or ’60’.
    Sorry.

    Can you try adding a custom excerpt to the post meta options?

    Yes! So stupid that I don’t think to do.
    It’a a more things to do in post that I never do for close the time.
