Hello,

I have an error, with seems to appear when I update something (an article, a widget…). The Widget counter with only Facebook displays this message :

“4 Application request limit reached method facebook.fql.query query SELECT fan_count FROM page WHERE page_id=numberofthepage Fans”

What can I do to avoid this error?

Looks like you’ve reached your API calls limit.

Ed, is there any caching available for this?

The call is cached, so this must be caused from elsewhere. Do you have anything else referencing your facebook page via the API?

The Facebook API is used to get facebook data on 3rd party applications/websites.
