Hey Support team
I purchased the Joyn theme yesterday and I’ve been messing around with it ever since, I really enjoy using your theme options and the visual composer is so much more intuitive than WPBakery’s.
I’ve run into a few issues that I need some assistance with. I bought the theme solely because of the EDD compatibility, as the site is going to sell mp3’s. I’m no pro with EDD, so I might be overlooking some things, but I fail to really see how the theme is EDD ready or friendly.
In the documentation there is mention of integrating Woocommerce but not EDD. There are no input boxes in the theme options that tweak the integration of EDD to the theme, like with Woocommerce.
Do any of the theme color settings tweak EDD’s color scheme ?
How can I use the cart icon with EDD ? The same with the wishlist icon, how can that integrate with EDD’s wishlist ?As I said I really enjoy working with the theme (over the years I’ve used more that 10 different WP themes) and I think it’s a great design, but I am a little disappointed with the seeming lack of EDD integration – which is my main concern.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards
Yogananda

Thanks for the positive opinion.
Will forward to the development team so they can give you an reply about EDD.-Rui

The cart/wishlist is a WooCommerce only feature – as far as I’m aware there aren’t equivalent solutions for EDD as standard (the wishlist is a plugin, and the cart in the header is an AJAX’able area which WooCommerce provides support for).
If you can provide links of any pages etc where you feel something isn’t right, I’ll happily take a look – and if you can think of any options which will be of use I’ll definitely look into adding them in with a theme update.
Thanks, glad to hear you are enjoying the theme.

December 4, 2014 at 8:25 am #133322Hey guys
Thanks for your reply.
As far as I can see EDD does have the possibility to show a cart icon and I know that the wishlist is a paid extension for EDD, but I had assumed by looking at your demo site that it would be the same design features with the EDD plugin and not just Woocommerce.
Here are a few links regarding the cart:

http://mythemepreviews.com/squarecode-wp/downloads/sounds-of-the-ocean-audio-pack/
https://demo.astoundify.com/marketify-stockphoto/Like I said I really like the design of the theme (that’s why I choose it, instead of Marketify or Squarecode) and find your UI very intuitive, but I need better out of the box EDD integration than you have supplied. I don’t have the time, neither do I want to tweak and adjust theme code to better integrate EDD.
So I’ve asked Envato for a refund and hopefully thay will comply.Wish you all the best !

No problem – if you’d have asked those questions before then we’d have definitely clarified it for you. I don’t think we in any place mislead with that level of integration. If we did have that already, then we’d definitely have a section about it on the theme item page.
We’ll definitely look at improving integration in the near future.
