Dropdown Arrows Missing in Sub Menus in phone layout

My main menu
When viewing the 3 bar menu in cellphone mode, the sub menu dropdowns don’t show small carrot marks indicating there is a sub menu. I’m not having luck with the posts asking similar questions.

Attached is an example. The red arrows indicate the location of where I would like the sub menu markers.

Please use this custom css code:-

#main-navigation li.parent.sub-menu-open > a:after,navigation ul li.parent > a:after{
width:20px !important;
}

I increased the width to 30px and could see the arrow for the first dropdown. Can this be continued another dropdown level or two?
The arrows need to be before they are selected. I messed with the css but no luck.

Also, is there a way to close dropdown menus as well.

I just would like themenu to have the arrows that are in the desktop menu.

I figured it out. Thanks. If anyone is interested, I added fa fa-caret-right in the MENU.
