Do I need to update theme every time there is update release?

Hi,

I just have a question, what is the best way to maintain the theme updates? I am also adding some custom CSS so I would like to know if it is necessary to follow up with every update and what is the best practice.

Hi,

You can have your css modifications in the custom css options, the updates won’t mess with that.

Is always good to have the latest version because in each new version we fixed some issues and develop new features but it’s up to you to update or not.

Thank you for the information. It is good to know that the custom css will stay as is.

Do you know also maybe, when I make a full website backup before the updates (I do it via GoDaddy) does it also save my blog posts in case if something went wrong?

If it’s a full backup of the site it will be a backup of the database and files. The database is what stores all of your content
