    Hi,

    When viewing my site from a mobile device, apparently the masonry items I have on the front page won’t display –even if they load right– if the main slider is not loaded completely. Some users viewing the site with slow connections complain that they have to wait a long time to see the posts (that I display as masonry items). Is there a way to disable this “fade in” effect, and have them display as soon as they are loaded? Thanks.

    Hi,

    The fade-in effect is just for eye-candy, they will still act the same, just that they won’t fade in, but appear all of a sudden.

    If you still need the effect removed, it’s lines 408 and 409 in js/functions.js :

    blogItems.animate({opacity: 1}, 800);
    masonryPagination.fadeIn(1000);
