Different widths; none of which are the width I specified

Hi there,
All the parts of my site – the header, the content and the title media – are different widths.
I want them all to be the same width.
Is this not possible?

Hi,

It looks like you are using a 3rd party grid system? ‘Essential Grid WordPress Plugin’.

This will likely cause a large conflict, we already supply you with a grid based system and shortcodes – can you switch to building your pages with that?

Please first disable the plugin ‘Essential Grid WordPress Plugin’.

I was hoping I wouldn’t have to switch. I wanted the animations and control of the look that comes with the Essential Grid plugin.
Is it really this that is causing the problem?

I’ve disabled the plugin and it’s still the same.

It’s because you are using boxed layout, but not using it as boxed with a background – so there is spacing inside.

You can try to remove the spacing with this css:

#main-container > .container {
  padding: 0;
  margin: 0;
  width: 100%;
}
