Hi,
I just installed Joyn and the demo content for the first time and noticed some things missing or not right, some I can’t figure out being new to Joyn. I have already spent a considerable amount of time on things I knew how to change.
Can you take a look at it and make it like the demo or tell me what to do?
This is a new domain and first time install.
1. Mega Menus were not setup and colors are not matching the demo
2. Home 2/Home:Product Launch – Go Pricing Table is missing “demo-blue_01”.
3. Pages/Page 2/Pricing – Go Pricing Table is missing “demo-blue_01”.
4. Page 2/Right Left Sidebar & Right Sidebar – Categories and Tags not appearing on page. Can confirm that posts, tags and categories were imported.
5. All the pages under Portfolio/Boxed – The portfolio category filter only shows “show all” and is not showing the categories. In the portfolio module there are no categories to choose. Only “all” is available.
6. All the pages under Blog/Blog Styles – Categories and Tags not appearing.
7. All the pages under Blog/Post Pages – are linked to Joyn demo pages i.e., http://joyn.swiftideas.com/2014/03/26/page-builder-post/
8. Two Cart pages
9. Two Checkout pages
10. Two Home pages
11. Two Wishlist pages
I wish this was as slick as Cardinal which loaded the demo content quickly and exactly like the demo.
-Thanks
December 8, 2014 at 12:06 pm #134224Hi,
Regarding you questions.
1- Will check this one and get back to you.
2,3- Already imported this for you. It’s not part of the theme demo content process.
4- The categories are created but only Uncategorized has 1 post assign to it.
5- I’m seeing several categories
http://www.poshwebdesigns.com/portfolio-2/portfolio-gallery-3-column/6- I’m seeing them
2 examples
http://www.poshwebdesigns.com/blog/blog-standard-sidebar/
http://www.poshwebdesigns.com/blog/blog-bold-text-only-style/7-
You need to replace the site name in the link
example:From
http://joyn.swiftideas.com/2014/02/25/self-hosted-audio/
to
http://www.poshwebdesigns.com/2014/02/25/self-hosted-audio/8, 9, 10, 11 – I just delete the wrong pages

Please check.-Rui

-RuiJune 16, 2015 at 9:38 pm #185192Hello,
I have just imported the demo content, but now I can’t access the list of all the pages from Dashboard. Media, posts, products all works fine, but pages just doesn’t load anything. It all worked fine before I uploaded the demo content.
Any thoughts?
Ben
June 17, 2015 at 12:18 am #185216Hi,
It seems a memory issue, since you have more content to display it uses more memory.
Try to increase the WordPress memory to 128M or a maximum of 256M by editing the wp-config.php
