I am using the Joyn Demo Content Importer to import the demo content.
Importing the Widgets, Theme Options and Color Options works fine.Importing the Demo Content simply won’t work. I tried it on a clean site.
There are no error messages, the import just won’t finish.I provided the admin account credentials, so feel free to explore.
Thanks in advance!
December 16, 2014 at 9:56 pm #136078Hi,
Can you try this two things, and try to run the demo export again?
1. http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP increase it to a maximum value.
2. http://codex.wordpress.org/Common_WordPress_Errors#Maximum_execution_time_exceeded Increase this too.Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.December 17, 2014 at 5:50 am #136159Thanks for your reply. I tried your suggestions but it’s still not working.
I tried the following settings:
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’96M’ );
define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
max_execution_time = 300;December 17, 2014 at 8:53 am #136199Hi,
What error it throws? Try increase this value to 256
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M' );
Let us know,
Thanks,
laranz.December 17, 2014 at 3:31 pm #136328It throws no error. It just loads indefinitely.

JensDecember 18, 2014 at 2:19 pm #136577Hi,
Can you check the admin credentials you provided. After logging in it says that I don’t have enough permissions to access the admin page.

December 18, 2014 at 6:20 pm #136627I just saw that the following pages aren’t working:
– Portfolio: Boxed, Full Width -> no target
– Blog: Blog Styles -> no target
– Blog: Post Pages -> are linking to your site
– Shop -> wrong target (but not really needed)Could you please fix that as well?
December 19, 2014 at 4:58 pm #136829Hi,
I add to import a xml file with the content. Something in your server didn’t like the plugin import process.
It’s done. The blog links directly to our demo site, that’s the way the content was created. You should delete those links or change to your own.
