default text content undeletable

Hi,

I use two 1/4 text elemtents on the outer edge and have a middle 1/2 asset with a slider in the middle. I delete the default text (This is a text block. Click the edit button to change this text..), but everytime I save and update, the text reappears. How can I get rid of the text for good, all I want is to use them as “buffers”, no content needed!

Hi Gabe,

Try switching to the Classic editor and change the text inside the shortcode from there.

This sounds like a JS issue – do you have any active plugins, besides the ones our theme recommends?

seemed to work (for now ;-)) with switching to the classic editor, thanks!
I didn’t have any plugins active other than the ones that came with the theme!

Try with a different browser and see if it works; you should definitely be able to change it in the Page Builder and not have to go to the Classic editor.
