With Code localization you have an option to generate again the .mo files.
With code localization edit the translation, probably you will have hit the scan button.

Hi there,

I would like to know, how I can change the polite form in german?

We would like to use “Sie” instead of “Du”. I tried to change it manually in the de_DE.po – but nothing happend unfortunately. After that I tried to do the same with the de_DE.mo – but than, the language was changed from german to english.

Could you help me please?

Hi,

Not sure if you are doing it right.

You should edit the .po file with PoEdit software and after translating you should save it so it would generate a new .mo file. Then transfer those 2 files to your server over the existing ones.

Try again.

Can you also provide a screenshot with marked area of the words you are trying to translate in the site?

Hi,

I would like to use my website in french by default and in english like a second possibility.

I’ve bought WPML plugin, I install it and I have two questions :

– In WPLML > Language option, which language I select by default ? French or English ? I don’t know because you’ve create Dante theme in english but I want to use it in french by default…

– WPLML found fr.mo file but only if I put it in /wp-content/themes/dante and not into the languages folder of the theme /wp-content/themes/dante/languages/ like your mention on your Dante Documentation. Is it normal ?
